8th Annual Animal Lovers’ Gala Dinner & Auction is a huge success!

Thank you to our sponsors, contributors, donors and all who attended the 8th Annual Animal Lovers’ Gala Dinner & Auction. Together we raised over $54,000 for the animals and we could not have done this without you.


Plans for New BC SPCA Centre in Surrey

March 20, 2012

The City of Surrey recently announced the end of its kenneling contract with the BC SPCA, effective April 30. While this will require SPCA staff and volunteers to vacate the city-owned shelter on 152nd street on this date, we have exciting plans for a new animal centre in Surrey.


City of Surrey announces end of SPCA kenneling contract

March 14, 2012

The BC SPCA received an email from the City of Surrey on March 13 announcing that the city’s kenneling contract will be given to the BC Corps of Commissionaires, effective April 30, 2012. The change means that the BC SPCA will have to vacate the city-owned shelter by that date.

iFund Lending staff donate to BC SPCA Surrey Branch shelter

Over the past month, the BC SPCA Surrey Branch shelter has received over 2,000 cans of food for cats and dogs donated by the staff at iFund Lending.
