The BC SPCA features adoptable animals from branches throughout B.C. Our Pet on the Net feature is a fun way for us to highlight animals in our care, but the Pet on the Net is only one of many animals in our care. To search for more adoptable animals, and the perfect animal for you and your family, check back often! The perfect pet is waiting for you...

Remember -- your new pet will depend on you for his or her life and happiness. Adopting an animal is a responsibility you choose to take on, and requires an informed decision. By making a responsible decision you can help the BC SPCA find a new home for one of the thousands of animals in our care, and your life will be better for it!
Make sure that you and your family are ready to adopt using our helpful checklist and resources.
Have you ever wondered why the BC SPCA has adoption fees? Wondered why the fees may seem to be expensive? Learn more about what it costs the BC SPCA to help homeless animals.
Our animal transfer program relocates animals between branches and adoption centres throughout B.C. The BC SPCA created the Drive for Lives animal transfer program to help ensure that we can save lives -- one road trip at a time! Many areas of B.C. face serious pet overpopulation problems and every day animals in our care are being moved around the province to different BC SPCA shelters in order to give them a second chance at finding their forever home.
Each May the BC SPCA hosts an annual adoption challenge. May is "Be Kind to Animals Month" and what better way to help an animal in need than to give it a happy and loving new home!
Read some of our favourite stories from BC SPCA alumni! All of the animals featured in our Happy Endings section have been adopted from one of our 37 shelters and their guardians want to tell their stories. Read the heart-warming "tails" of animals that have been given a second chance.
