WHAT'S HAPPENING

The BC SPCA has been protecting and caring for animals for over 100 years and we aim to share this knowledge and experience with other professionals to improve the lives of animals.

On this page, you will find evidence-based resources on animal care and management for animal sheltering organizations, municipalities, teachers and other professionals.

Model Municipal Animal Control Bylaws

The BC SPCA has developed a set of Model Animal Control Bylaws to help municipal governments address community animal control and welfare issues such as dangerous dogs, exotic species control, licensing of breeders and pet stores, and pet overpopulation.
